Achievers Curriculum
Two-Year-Olds will work on their fine and large motor skills, counting, number recognition and sharing with their friends. They will learn the sounds that letters make as well as letter recognition.
Three-Year-Olds learn the shape and sound for each letter of the alphabet. They are introduced to phonics, pairs, opposites, sequence of events and work on number recognition 1- 15. Listening skills, thinking and reasoning, coloring and eye-hand coordination are sharpened through out the year.
K4 children are excited to learn to write “just like Mom and Dad.” They learn to write each of the small letters of the alphabet first. Then they find that it is easy to join most of the letters and that they can write blends and words. Using the simple, logical phonics system, children in K4 can learn to read. They begin by mastering the vowels and consonant and their sounds through enjoyable classroom teaching. forming blends and reading simple works comes naturally after that.
